Danielle and Chris were my first of four mini sessions two weekends ago.  Their little family was a dream to photograph.  The weather was gorgeous and we had a blast!

*** For whatever reason, this never posted when I originally created it, but I still wanted to share it as I loved these photos, I loved this experience, and I love this couple! What can I say about them?  They are one of the cutest couples I know - and I have known both of them for over two decades. I was so blessed to be their photographer.  Flying down to Mexico and spending the week with them and their closest friends and family was an added bonus!  The entire week was magical and our little party had an insane amount of fun.  The wedding day itself was a balmy 40 degrees with full sun!  None of us were complaining though. ***

Kimber Elise Turns One!

I have figured out that I love doing children's photography.  Once they know how to crawl, children are wonderful.  If they have learned to walk, they are exciting!  Kimber Elise learned to walk by 9 months old! Yes, she is a speedster.  I loved collaborating with Little Miss K's Cookies to do this cake smash session.  You can view her blog  here and her Facebook page here. But enough chatter, you want to see some adorable photos, right? Here is Miss Kimber in all her sassy cuteness... The cake was chocolate with buttercream frosting.  Polka dots and 1 were sugar cookies dipped in frosting.  Everything was delicious.  And yes, I had a bite afterwards!  And the one is gone!   All done apparently....  After cake, we had some fun with some bubbles!  Now... The Anonymous Bump... Revealed!

A few weeks ago, I posted an anonymous baby "bump" on my  Facebook Page . Apparently some family and friends knew right away who the belly belonged to because of the hands (who knew someone could be recognized by their hands, right?).  Luckily, they played along with keeping things Top Secret and did not reveal the lovely, pregnant lady's name.  I am extremely thrilled to reveal this family's photo session today because it means one major thing... their baby is on the way!  Yes, they are headed to the hospital and will be meeting their newest addition in *hopefully* a few, short hours! Without further ado.... the Penniston family!  You read that correctly... this photographer is about to welcome another bundle of joy!
